COSCO Takes German and Danish Exhibits to China International Import Expo

On September 18, local time, COSCO SHIPPING loaded Germany and Denmark’s exhibits for the 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) onto COSCO SHIPPING Taurus at the Port of Hamburg.

The German exhibits come from Hans-h.hasbargen GmbH & Co KG, a company founded in 1964 that mainly produces creative gifts. The company has chosen dozens of types of exhibits for this year’s Expo.

The Danish exhibits are from Mille Food A/S, a famous Danish dairy company. The exhibits are largely infant formulas known for their safety and quality.

As the exclusive official carrier for overseas maritime transport of the 3rd CIIE, COSCO SHIPPING has designed a total logistics and transportation service package for these exhibits, including import and export customs clearance, sanitary inspection, container loading at doorstep, multimodal transportation, sea transportation, storage and distribution, and direct delivery to the exhibition booths, demonstrating the corporation’s tremendous global network advantages and extraordinary global transportation capacity.

In one 20-foot container and four 40-foot oversized containers, the exhibits were transported by rail and feeder vessels from the customers’ factories to the Port of Hamburg for shipment by COSCO SHIPPING’s subsidiaries in Germany and Northern Europe. They are expected to arrive in the Port of Shanghai on October 20.
